Role Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design activities for building projects, including load calculations, power distribution layouts, panel schedules, and coordination with other MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, support design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and templates. This is a full time, on-site role located in Surat.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electricity, Electrical Engineering, and practical application of electrical principles in building systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design for commercial and residential projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout development.
- Experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including low- and medium-voltage systems, panel and feeder design, and system coordination.
- Hands-on experience with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with relevant U.S. codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
- Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document designs clearly and participate in client and internal reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; prior experience in MEP consulting for U.S.-based projects is an advantage.
