: Piping Design Engineer

• Prepare and Develops 2D and 3D Designs.

- Prepare of Piping GA, Equipment GA Structural GA & Plot Plan.
- Development & Review of Isometrics as per GA and P&ID.;
- Prepare 3D Modelling like Equipment Modelling, Piping Modelling, Structures Modelling, Pipe Supports & Instruments.

• Develop 3D skid models based on basic engineering documents using SolidWorks, Plant 3D.

- Perform peer reviews and ensure compliance with quality procedures, processes, and standards for skid deliverables.
- Review PFDs/P&IDs; and develop equipment layouts and skid piping routing designs.
- Extract and annotate 2D drawings, including GADs, plumb drawings, and spool drawings, based on project and client requirements.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and determine support spacing for metallic and non-metallic piping systems.
- Prepare clash reports, resolve identified clashes prior to model reviews, and generate compliance reports.




- Participate in 3D model reviews from concept through completion to ensure adequate flexibility and constructability in pipe routing.
- Review isometrics, 3D models, spool drawings, and weldment drawings to select appropriate pipe support types in alignment with piping analysis requirements.
- Develop standard P&ID; templates, including legends, blocks, attributes, spreadsheet linking, and AutoCAD attribute extraction.
- Ensure piping and skid designs comply with applicable project specifications, internal standards, client requirements, and engineering codes.
- Participate in in office meetings as an engineering/analysis team representative and handle customer-facing technical discussions when required.
- Prepare equipment and foundation layouts using AutoCAD.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Maximum 4+ years’ Experience of mechanical design in Water, Power, O&G; or related Industry.
- Software knowledge - AutoCAD, SolidWorks or AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit or Autodesk Inventor.
- Knowledge on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code / B 31.1 Power Piping Code
