Role Description The Senior Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D digital models and technical drawings for jewelry pieces, ensuring designs meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturing requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves close collaboration with design, production, and sales teams to translate concepts, sketches, and client requirements into accurate CAD files and construction drawings. The designer will review and refine existing designs, optimize models for casting and stone setting, and maintain organized design documentation and libraries.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing renderings for client presentations, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards, and providing technical input on design feasibility and improvements. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, supporting process enhancements, and contributing to continuous innovation in design workflows.

Rhino Matrix Experience Is must

- Strong design visualization skills, including Drawing and Technical Drawing for jewelry or product design.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows used in jewelry or industrial design.
- Experience creating precise Construction Drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Background in Design Engineering, with the ability to balance aesthetics, structural integrity, and manufacturability.
- Relevant diploma in cad design matrix
- above 3 years of experience in a senior CAD design role, preferably within jewelry or a similar domain.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in an on-site workplace.
- Familiarity with rendering software and production processes (casting, setting, finishing) is an advantage.
