Position: GST Accountant / GST Return Filing Consultant
Engagement: One-day / Part time assignment
Location: Seawoods,Navi Mumbai
Business: Small e-commerce business selling products through online platforms
We are looking for an experienced GST Accountant/Consultant to visit us for one day and assist with our GST compliance and return filing.
Responsibilities
Review our GST registration and basic business details.
Review sales made and relevant sales invoices.
Check GST collected on sales and ensure the correct GST rates/tax amounts are reported.
Review purchase invoices/input tax credit, wherever applicable.
Reconcile the available sales information with Flipkart settlement/sales reports.
Prepare and file the applicable GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, as applicable for the month.
Ensure the return is filed correctly and obtain the filing acknowledgement.
Explain to the business owner the GST payable, if any, and any key compliance requirements for the following months.
Advise on maintaining proper GST records for future online sales.
Requirements
Experience in GST return filing for e-commerce/marketplace sellers, preferably Flipkart.
Good knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, e-commerce sales and GST reconciliation.
Ability to independently complete the filing and explain the process clearly.
CA/CA Inter/experienced GST practitioner preferred.
