Consultant Ophthalmologist – Part Time / OPD

Work Schedule
Part time: 4 to 6 hours per day
Versatile working hours can be discussed
OPD consultation-focused role
Location: Periamet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Qualification
MBBS with MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology
Valid medical registration
Relevant clinical experience preferred
Fresh postgraduates with suitable clinical exposure may also be considered

Key Responsibilities
Conduct ophthalmology OPD consultations
Examine and diagnose patients with various eye conditions
Provide appropriate treatment and medical advice
Review investigation and diagnostic reports
Identify patients requiring surgery or specialist evaluation
Refer patients appropriately for cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea and other specialist services
Explain diagnosis, treatment options and follow-up requirements to patients
Maintain proper clinical documentation and patient records
Coordinate with optometrists, nurses and other clinical staff




Maintain high standards of patient care and professional ethics

Compensation

Salary / Consultation Fee: Negotiable based on qualification, experience and working hours.
