Senior CAD Designer | Jewellery The House of Sunita Shekhawat | Jaipur The House of Sunita Shekhawat is looking for a Senior CAD Designer to join our Jaipur Design & Product Development team.

This is a technical-creative role focused on 3D-first jewellery modelling, sculpting and production-ready CAD output. We are looking for someone with robust expertise in Rhino 3D who can create complex, detailed jewellery models and translate design concepts into technically accurate files ready for casting, setting and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end 3D jewellery modelling from brief to production-ready CAD files using Rhino 3D.
- Create complex organic forms, intricate settings and detailed surface treatments.
- Use Blender or ZBrush for detailed sculptural elements, figurative designs and decorative motifs.
- Produce photorealistic renders for client approvals, presentations and marketing.
- Ensure CAD models meet technical requirements for casting, setting and manufacturing.
- Translate concept sketches and mood boards into precise 3D models.
- Manage design iterations and revisions efficiently.
- Contribute original ideas during the design development process.
- Maintain an organised library of ongoing and archived design files.
- Work closely with production, stone-setting and sampling teams to resolve technical issues.
- Guide junior designers and CAD team members on software techniques and best practices.
- Support bespoke commissions where technical CAD input is required.

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of professional CAD design experience,



specifically in jewellery or luxury accessories.
- Advanced/Expert proficiency in Rhino 3D.
- Experience with Blender and/or ZBrush preferred.
- Working knowledge of KeyShot, V-Ray or Cycles for rendering.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex 3D jewellery work.
- Strong understanding of jewellery construction, settings, findings, casting methods and gemstone proportions.
- Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical design decisions.
- Proactive approach to identifying manufacturing issues at the CAD stage.
- Degree/diploma in Jewellery Design, Product Design or equivalent is desirable but not essential with strong portfolio evidence.
