Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

The successful candidate will be part of a team of Business Analysts who form part of the software delivery group. The Business Analysis team are high performing, supportive and inclusive team, working to analyze, document, and propose effective solutions across Travel Studio-related business areas.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a highly experienced and capable analyst, leading the BA activities on the most complex, high profile and business critical projects and programmes.

The role involves preparing high-quality functional specifications and acting as a key liaison between clients, internal development teams, and third-party stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Prior experience working in a product-based software company

Duties and Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements within Waterfall or Agile methodologies, translating them into clear functional specifications and detailed test plans.
- Analyze and document end-to-end business processes, workflows, and system behavior.
- Produce comprehensive business analysis documentation and obtain formal client sign-off on specifications.
- Act as the primary link between customers, development teams, and third parties to ensure accurate understanding of software functionality.
- Work collaboratively with the development teams to ensure delivery of software that meets the requirements of the change request.
- Manage change requests on a day-to-day basis, ensuring alignment with project plans, scope, and agreed timelines.
- Independently facilitate and run client workshops,



particularly during scoping and solutioning of large or complex requirements.
- Support the QA team; provide acceptance criteria, review test scripts, support testing and close out any questions raised.
- Take ownership of core areas of the system, operating in a self-sufficient and solution-led manner.
- Support the implementation team to produce any necessary materials for project rollout to end users.
- Support the BA team lead in the effective execution of their role, including, recent joiner onboarding, best practice definition, peer reviews, training delivery and acting as an ambassador for the team.
- Manage complex and challenging stakeholders to successful outcomes.
- Prepare and submit weekly status reports to the Project Manager, covering progress against milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements.

Skills & knowledge:

- Strong understanding of the travel industry and domain-specific processes.
- Proven ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
- Demonstrable experience in writing requirements and functional specifications for information systems.
- Proven background in software development environments and delivery models.
- Advanced understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques across the full project lifecycle, with ability to mentor others within the team.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, working directly with end users and clients across large and complex projects and programmes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels of seniority.
- Willingness to travel to ODL client sites as required.
