Summary:

Data Architect with extensive experience in managing and optimizing data architecture, particularly with a focus on DynamoDB and Redshift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both traditional SQL databases and NoSQL databases, with a deep understanding of data modeling, optimization, and scalability.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data architectures utilizing DynamoDB and Redshif
Collaborate with client, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, and translate them into productive database design,
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and structures to ensure optimal performance and reliabilit,
Optimize database configurations, queries, and indexing strategies to enhance system performance and scalabilit,
Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standard,
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to address bottlenecks and inefficiencie,
Work closely with software engineers and data analysts to integrate data solutions into applications and analytical workflow,

Requirements




Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Extensive hands-on experience with DynamoDB and Redshift is required
Solid proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database technologies, with a focus on data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
Experience working in cloud environments, particularly with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices
Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty)
Experience with other NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
