Responsible for operation, setup, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC Turning Machines used for precision machining of components.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up CNC Turning / CNC Lathe machines.
Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring and drilling operations.
Tool setting, offset correction and workpiece alignment.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Handle CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi.
Perform first-piece inspection and dimensional measurement using vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
Carry out tool changes and optimize cutting parameters.
Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, CNC and machining-related problems.
Maintain production, quality and machine records.
Follow safety and quality procedures.
