Role: Accounts Assistant
Department: Finance and Accounting

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry: Enter daily financial transactions and journal entries accurately into accounting systems.
Invoicing: Process, issue, and track vendor and customer invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and ledgers to spot and fix discrepancies.
Expense Tracking: Monitor office expenditures, manage petty cash, and compile employee expense reports.
Reporting Support: Gather data to help prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and budget summaries.
Communication: Answer vendor and client inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account statuses.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical bookkeeping experience).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software like Tally.
Attention to Detail: Solid math skills and accuracy to reduce data entry errors.
Communication: Good verbal and written skills for professional interactions with suppliers and staff.
Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage sensitive financial data confidentially.
