JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to support business development, customer coordination, documentation, and ongoing service/project activities.

Key Responsibilities
Identify new business prospects and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations, proposals, and regular follow-ups.
Visit customers, shipyards, vessels, and project locations as required.
Assist managers in coordinating ongoing service and project jobs.
Coordinate with customers, service engineers, technical teams, suppliers, and internal departments.
Assist with job scheduling, site visits, manpower coordination, material requirements, and other job-related activities.
Prepare and maintain quotations, reports, customer correspondence, job records, and other documentation.
Follow up for purchase orders, work orders, approvals, reports, certificates, and other required documents.
Maintain enquiry, quotation, customer, and job-status records.
Provide regular updates on business opportunities and ongoing jobs to management.
Assist with basic tender/e-procurement documentation when required.





Required Skills
Valuable spoken and written English is mandatory.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Valuable documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook/email, and PDF documents.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, customers, and technical personnel.
Organised, proactive, and willing to take responsibility.
Willingness to travel locally for customer and job-related activities.

Qualification & Experience
Graduate in any discipline; technical/engineering qualification will be an advantage.
1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, technical sales, marine, shipyard, industrial, or engineering services is preferred.
Freshers with strong communication and organisational skills may also be considered.

Key Requirement

The candidate should be professional, confident, well organised, good at follow-ups, comfortable with documentation, and capable of assisting managers in coordinating multiple ongoing jobs and customer requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
