Role: Community Relationship

Role Summary:

ETCFO is building out its conference and community charter for India's CFO community. We are looking for someone to own the delivery of custom and IP events across formats, from closed-door roundtables and residential conclaves to large-format conferences. The role covers speaker acquisition, delegate acquisition, and event communications, and managing internal stake-holders and works closely with the Lead, Conference & Community on agenda design and delegate experience.



This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career in B2B events and community for senior business leaders.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Lead, Conference & Community, ETCFO.

Key Responsibilities

Event Delivery

- Own delivery of custom and IP events for the India CFO community, spanning closed-door roundtables, residential conclaves, and large-format conferences
- Plan and execute events end to end in terms of Delegate delivery
- Manage logistics, and on-ground execution across multi-city for custom events
- Own the event calendar and project tracker, and flag risks to timelines early

Speaker Acquisition, Delegate Acquisition, and Event Communications

- Speaker acquisition, including CFO and CXO speaker curation, outreach, confirmations, and panel mapping
- Lead delegate acquisition through calling, WhatsApp outreach, and personal network activation
- Own event communications, including invites, calling scripts, and post-event communications
- Maintain and grow the CFO community database across sectors and geographies

Team and Stakeholder Management

- Manage junior team members and interns on delegate acquisition and event operations • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and editorial teams
- Represent ETCFO professionally with CFOs, and partners at events

Requirements

- 4 to 7 years of experience in B2B events, conferences, or community management, ideally with a CXO or senior leadership audience
- Proven experience managing end-to-end event execution across formats, including closed-door roundtables, residential conclaves, and large-format conferences
- Experience owning speaker acquisition and delegate acquisition
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage CFOs and senior leaders directly
- Comfortable with outbound calling and building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience working with sponsors and translating commercial requirements into event content
- Willingness to travel for multi-city roundtables and the residential conclave
