Primary Responsibilities A Sr. Architect is responsible for leading the design and delivery of houses, residential and institutional projects from concept through detailed design, documentation and execution. The role requires strong design thinking, technical understanding, project ownership and the ability to work closely with clients, consultants and the design team.

The Sr. Architect will also guide and mentor architects while ensuring design quality, coordination and project timelines are maintained throughout the project.

Roles:

- Lead the design and development of houses, residential and institutional projects from concept to completion.
- Understand client requirements, site context, project brief and functional needs, and translate them into thoughtful and context-responsive architectural solutions.
- Develop and lead concept design, spatial planning, design development, detailed design and GFC documentation.
- Maintain the design intent and quality of the project through all stages of development and execution.
- Review drawings, details and project documentation to ensure accuracy, coordination and design quality.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal design teams throughout the project.
- For residential projects, respond to client lifestyle, functional requirements, material preferences and detailing with a strong focus on design quality and user experience.
- For institutional projects, develop clear and efficient planning with consideration for function, circulation, zoning, accessibility,



safety and user requirements.
- Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, landscape, interior and other consultant inputs.
- Participate in and lead client presentations, design reviews, consultant meetings and site discussions.
- Conduct regular site visits and work closely with contractors to ensure the approved design, detailing, materials and quality standards are maintained.
- Identify design and execution challenges and develop practical solutions while protecting the design intent and project requirements.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, timelines, priorities and coordination from design through execution.
- Guide and mentor junior architects, providing design and technical guidance and reviewing their work.
- Contribute to improving design standards, detailing, documentation quality and knowledge sharing within the studio.
- Provide inputs on materials, construction detailing, project feasibility and value engineering where required.
- Ensure projects are developed in accordance with applicable building regulations, statutory requirements, fire and safety standards and accessibility requirements.




- Support business development through client interactions, presentations, proposals and design discussions when required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 8+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery, preferably with experience in houses, residential and institutional projects.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating experience across concept design, design development, detailed design, documentation and execution.
- Strong understanding of architectural planning, construction detailing, materials and site execution.
- Experience working with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership, coordination and project management skills.
- Ability to independently take ownership of projects and lead them through different stages of design and execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and/or other relevant architectural and presentation software.
- Good understanding of construction documentation and GFC drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, design and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
- A design-led, collaborative and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to balance creativity, functionality, technical resolution and execution.
