Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying 2D/3D engineering designs, mechanical components, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings while supporting Current Product Development (NPD) activities.

Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate and manufacturing-ready 3D models using SolidWorks.
Create and modify 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD as per engineering requirements.
Perform SolidWorks Part Design, Assembly Design, and detailed modeling.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, sections, views, and annotations.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, GD&T;, and design requirements.
Perform necessary engineering/design calculations for components and assemblies.
Support New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept development through detailed design.




Modify existing designs based on design changes, manufacturing requirements, customer requirements, and engineering feedback.
Ensure designs meet required functional, dimensional, manufacturing, and quality standards.
Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, and other engineering teams for design-related requirements.
Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, manufacturability, and performance improvement.

Required Technical Skills
Excellent understanding of engineering drawing interpretation and preparation.
Strong knowledge of dimensioning, detailing, tolerances, and GD&T;.
Valuable understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering calculations.
Practical experience in NPD / New Product Development.
Knowledge of BOM preparation and engineering documentation.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and assembly requirements.

QUALIFICATION

B.E./B.TECH/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering,
Compensation: Salary will be based on technical skills, relevant experience, and interview performance.
