Having knowledge of the Machining Process in CNC/VMC, HMC & part setup.
Knowledge of Machine Shop Machining Drawing reading/understanding.
Knowledge of GD&T.;
Assisting operators with set up of jobs on machines, but ultimately training and mentoring operators to be self-sufficient with support from the training manager.
Providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection, processing parameters, work holding, processing sequence, finishing and packing.
Carrying out induction training with current starters.
Carrying out staff appraisals, supervisions and return to work meetings.
Ensuring that the team remain in date with mandatory training.
Carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.
