We are seeking an experienced AI Unix engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with all flavours of Unix, including Redhat Linux, SUSE, AIX, HP-UX.

Enterprise

Backup and Recovery Technologies including Veeam, Rubrik and Commvault related technologies.

Storage

Technologies including Netapp, Dell PowerStore and Everpure. Hands-on or knowledge on DevOps and AI automations related tools. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing AI Unix related platform solutions to meet the business needs of our clients.

6+ year industry experience, the candidate should be both technically strong on various Unix technologies, DevOps and AI automations related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- A minimum of 6 years comparative industry experience.
- Knowledge of RHEL 7/8, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, AIX, HP-UX and related technologies
- Experience with multiple backup technologies – Commvault + Veeam + Rubrik.
- Manage storage policies, schedules, retention and auxiliary copy operations in Commvault
- Experience in Cloud Environments, with a preference for Azure,



though AWS or Google Cloud knowledge is also valuable.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting is essential, particularly Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with up-to-date DevOps / CI/CD and SRE principles/techniques is required.
- Experience with Dockers/ Kubernetes/containers is necessary.
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins and terraform is necessary.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VCP, VMware, VxRail and/or RHEV.
- Conceptual understanding of storage, Backup and recovery tools.
- Experience with AI-driven IT operations (AIOps) tools and basic knowledge on Agentic AI, Conversational AI.
- Understanding of AI automations workflows and implementation.
- Familiar with Red Hat OpenShift AI or similar tools Kubeflow, Databricks, Amazon Sagemaker

Relevant certifications in Enterprise Backup (Commvault + Veeam + Rubrik) and Storage, Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and AI-driven automation tools will be considered an added advantage.
