Role Description This is a full-time Senior AI Engineer (Python) role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Senior AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that support data-driven decision-making across development, construction, and investment functions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include building scalable Python-based services, training and evaluating models, integrating AI components into existing systems, and optimizing performance for production environments. The role involves close collaboration with product, data,



and engineering teams to define requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and maintain robust, well-documented code. The engineer will also mentor junior team members, contribute to architectural decisions, and stay current with advancements in AI and MLOps best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and AI/ML workloads, including experience with contemporary frameworks and libraries.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Experience building and deploying scalable AI services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid software engineering practices, including version control (Git), testing, code review, and documentation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead engineering role, including mentoring and technical guidance for other team members.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
