Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the complete admissions journey. This role involves conducting consultation calls and in-person meetings to understand learners’ goals, explaining suitable programs and universities, and helping them compare options using structured data and clear criteria.

The Senior Admissions

Counselor will manage the admissions pipeline, follow up with leads, support application and documentation processes, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing honest, transparent counseling, addressing queries related to courses, fees,



eligibility, and career outcomes, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or related systems. The role also contributes to improving counseling processes, mentoring junior counselors, and sharing market insights to enhance LearningShala’s offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to interact effectively with students and families.
- Customer Service skills to provide empathetic, solution-oriented support throughout the counseling and admissions process.
- Sales skills to convert qualified leads into enrollments while maintaining integrity and student-first guidance.
- Education domain understanding, preferably with experience in higher education, online programs, or career counseling.
- Ability to conduct structured needs assessments and match learners to suitable programs based on goals and eligibility.
- Experience using CRM or admissions management tools, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-ups.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience (typically 3+ years) in admissions counseling, academic advising, or education sales is preferred.
- Comfort working in a quick-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a student-centric approach.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are a plus.
