Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for managing overview of day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger postings, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and monitor cash flow to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The role involes mentoring internal teams and coordinating with management, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Accountant will also help optimize financial processes, support audits, and provide analytical insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, trial balance preparation, and financial statement drafting.
- Manage scrutinizing of ledgers and the compliances.
- Experience with taxation and compliance, including GST, TDS,



and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar platforms) and solid Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, vendor and customer ledgers, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience supporting audits, maintaining accurate documentation, and implementing internal controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; inter CA or CMA are advantage.
- Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in distribution, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Ability to work on-site in ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
