Position Overview

Marmon is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) function for EXSIF, a leading railcar leasing and asset management company within the Marmon Group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with domestic and international business partners, supporting the full accounting cycle, including financial close, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, including EXSIF's CFO, finance leadership team, and parent company stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, analytical capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset to support business growth and financial excellence.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) / General Ledger Accounting.
- Strong experience in:

1. Journal Entries
2. Account Reconciliations
3. Financial Reporting
4. Month-End and Year-End Close
5. Accrual Accounting
6. Variance Analysis
7. Good understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
8. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills include:
9. Pivot Tables
10. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
11. SUMIF/SUMIFS
12. Power Query
