Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Senior

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closings.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and management reports, monitoring budgets and cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation rules, and regulatory requirements. The role involves reviewing and improving internal controls, coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants,



and supporting leadership with financial analysis for decision-making.

The Senior

Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data, support process efficiency, and contribute to the financial stability and growth of Arcedior.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation.
- Experience with taxation, statutory compliance, and working knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and data analysis skills.
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for management.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within a design, sourcing, retail, or project-based business environment.
