Role & responsibilities

The Store Manager will oversee the store's day-to-day operations sales, staff management, inventory control, customer service, and financial performance. The goal is to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and store presentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets; analyze sales data and take corrective action on shortfalls. • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff; manage shift scheduling and attendance; conduct performance evaluations. • Maintain a high standard of customer service and resolve complaints promptly. • Oversee inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and manage ordering and merchandising. • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing; ensure accurate cash handling and policy compliance. • Prepare the store budget, monitor expenses, and present financial reports to upper management. • Manage both offline (in-store) and online operations,



since ApnaMart runs on both channels; build a proper roster and manage the team so the store functions smoothly across its 16-hour operating day. • Plan in-store promotions and marketing campaigns and track their effectiveness. Candidate Requirements • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred). • Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail role. • Solid leadership, team management, and communication skills. • Solid understanding of sales principles, customer service, and inventory management. • Working knowledge of POS and retail software. • Available for adaptable schedule (weekends/evenings/holidays); able to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
