Role Summary
We are seeking a GCP Data Architect with robust experience in designing and implementing data platforms on Google Cloud. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, managing cloud data services, and enabling analytics and data warehousing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data solutions using GCP services
Build and manage ETL pipelines using Python
Work with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics
Develop and manage data workflows using Cloud Composer
Implement data processing using Dataflow and Dataproc
Design event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub and Cloud Functions
Manage data storage using Cloud Storage
Implement DLP for data security and compliance
Design and manage SQL-based data solutions
Integrate and manage databases including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Required Skills & Experience
Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands-on experience with SQL and Python
Experience with BigQuery and data warehousing concepts
Experience building ETL pipelines on cloud
Working knowledge of Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions
Experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
Experience with relational databases: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Robust understanding of data modeling and database design
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
