Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze BOM, material costs, consumption, scrap, process losses and product profitability.
Evaluate conversion costs, capacity utilization, productivity, rework and fixed cost optimization.
Monitor inventory levels, turnover, slow/non-moving and obsolete inventory.
Conduct contribution margin, product profitability and spare parts analysis.
Support inter-company and related-party pricing as per company policies.
Drive cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives across materials and operations.
Analyze bought-out component costs and investment effectiveness.
Ensure proper cost allocation across business segments.
Support current product costing, pricing and Make vs Buy analysis.
Handle monthly costing closure, cost audits, variance analysis and inventory valuation.
Experience
3+ years post-qualification experience in Costing / Product Costing / Manufacturing Finance / Management Accounting.
Preferably from Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing industry.
Qualification
CA / CMA / ICWA - Fully Qualified or MBA (Full Time)
Functional Competencies
Robust knowledge of cost accounting, product costing and manufacturing finance.
Expertise in BOM costing, cost roll-up, contribution and variance analysis.
Experience in cost reduction, Make vs Buy, recent product costing and pricing.
Knowledge of inventory valuation, conversion cost and cost accounting controls.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with exposure to cost audits.
