Role & responsibilities
Plan and execute manufacturing activities for FRP/GRP and composite components.
Handle composite fabrication, lamination, moulding, trimming, grinding, and finishing operations.
Perform and supervise Hand Lay-up, Vacuum Bagging, and Vacuum Infusion processes.
Work with fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin systems, core materials, and other composite materials.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and work instructions.
Ensure proper resin-to-fiber ratios, laminate sequence, curing, and bonding procedures.
Monitor production activities and ensure products are manufactured according to required specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot composite defects such as voids, delamination, dry spots, air entrapment, resin-rich areas, and surface defects.
Coordinate with Production, Design, Quality, Stores, and other departments for smooth execution.




Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of composite components.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, material consumption records, and other technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
Support continuous improvement and process optimization activities.
Guide technicians and shop-floor personnel on correct composite manufacturing practices.

Preferred candidate profile
Experience in Marine, Shipbuilding, Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, or Industrial Composite Manufacturing will be preferred.
Experience with FRP/GRP doors, hatches, panels, marine structures, or similar composite components is an added advantage.
Knowledge of marine/defence quality standards will be an advantage.
