Conduct OPD, IPD and emergency consultations.
Assess and diagnose surgical conditions.
Perform general and emergency surgical procedures.
Perform appendectomy, hernia repair and cholecystectomy.
Perform laparoscopic and open surgeries as per clinical privileges.
Manage surgical emergencies and trauma cases.
Perform wound care, debridement, biopsy and abscess drainage.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients.
Monitor patients and manage post-operative complications.
Coordinate with other specialties when required.
Maintain accurate clinical records and operative notes.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment and follow-up.
Follow hospital, NABH and patient-safety protocols.
Participate in clinical audits, meetings and quality improvement activities.
