Role & responsibilities
Identify current customers, markets and business opportunities through research, cold calling, email communication, references, networking and other channels.
Generate and manage leads, enquiries and follow-ups and work towards converting opportunities into business.
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective customers through calls, emails, meetings and visits.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with R&D;, Technical, Production and other internal teams for suitable solutions, samples and trials.
Maintain an updated database of customers, prospects, enquiries, follow-ups and business opportunities.
Support marketing activities including product/company presentations, promotional communication, exhibitions and market development.
Identify new industries, applications and customer segments for business expansion.
Track market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements and share relevant insights with the team.




Coordinate internally to ensure timely responses and smooth handling of customer requirements.
Prepare regular reports on leads, customer interactions, follow-ups and business development activities.

Preferred candidate profile
BMM/BMS Graduate; MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales or Business Development will be preferred.
Freshers with strong knowledge, creative ideas, valuable communication skills and interest in Business Development and Marketing are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 3 yrs of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Marketing or CRM will be preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and follow-up skills.
Valuable analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable interacting with customers through calls, emails, meetings and field visits.
Proactive, energetic, self-driven and eager to learn and take initiative.
Knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace, Powerpoint, Canva and CRM tools will be an added advantage.
