Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 3+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality engineering.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on programming experience in Java, expertise in Selenium WebDriver, API automation, automation framework development, CI/CD, and a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to AI-assisted testing and modern Quality Engineering practices is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions for web and API applications.
- Develop robust and maintainable automation scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks using appropriate design patterns and best practices.
- Perform API testing and automation using RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, automation opportunities, test gaps, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and release tests.
- Identify suitable regression scenarios for automation and continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, and execution time.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, analyze defects, and collaborate with Development and Product teams for resolution.
- Perform impact-based regression testing and validate defect fixes.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum,



Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
- Maintain test cases, automation results, defects, and execution status using Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Contribute to shift-left testing, continuous testing, and Quality Engineering initiatives.
- Prepare and communicate test execution results, automation coverage, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
- Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools for test-case generation, test-data generation, automation development, defect analysis, and test optimization.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, Software QA, or Quality Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API testing and automation.
- Experience with RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of OOP, collections, exception handling, and Java programming concepts.
- Robust knowledge of SDLC, STLC, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical,
