nRoles & Responsibilities :

n1st Assistant

n-Assisted the surgeon directly during surgical procedures by providing instruments, sutures, and other required materials.

n-Anticipated the surgeons needs and maintained an efficient surgical workflow.

n-Assisted with tissue handling, retraction, suction, hemostasis, and wound closure as required.

n-Maintained strict aseptic technique and ensured the sterile field was preserved throughout the procedure.

n-Performed accurate counts of instruments, needles, sponges, and swabs in collaboration with the surgical team.





n- Assisted in managing specimens and ensuring their correct labeling and transfer.

n2nd Assistant

n -Assisted the 1st assistant and surgeon in maintaining optimal exposure of the operative field.

n -Supported retraction, suction, positioning, and other intraoperative requirements under the direction of the surgical team.

n -Prepared and provided additional instruments and supplies when required.

n -Maintained awareness of the surgical field and anticipated the needs of the operating team.

n -Assisted with surgical dressing, wound care, and completion of the procedure.

n -Followed infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety protocols throughout the operation.
