Gradeup Academy is looking for a vibrant, creative, and tech-savvy Scratch Coding Instructor to deliver interactive live online classes for young learners (ages 7–15). In this role, your core focus will be introducing students to visual block programming, interactive game development, animations, and algorithmic thinking. You must excel at hosting high-energy, fun demo sessions where kids are captivated, inspired, and excited to build their own games right from day one.

​Eligibility & Selection Tracks

- ​Track A: Direct Instructor Onboarding (Experienced Scratch Educators) Direct student batch allocation is available for candidates meeting all of the following benchmarks:
- ​Minimum 2 years of verified online teaching experience dedicated to the Scratch coding platform (Scratch 3.0, Scratch Jr., TurboWarp, CS First).
- ​Prior experience working as a dedicated Scratch coding instructor with an EdTech platform or recognized coding academy.
- ​A globally recognized certification as an accredited Scratch Coding Instructor.
- ​A verifiable, published portfolio showcasing 20 interactive Scratch games, animated stories, and complex arcade projects demonstrating deep mastery of sprites, costumes, clone generation, nested loops, conditional logic, sensing, variables, and broadcast messaging.
- ​Mandatory Evaluation: Candidates in Track A must appear for and transparent a comprehensive Technical Code Review & Live Kid-Centric Demo Evaluation, proving their ability to capture children's attention, simplify block logic, and deliver an engaging learning experience.
- ​Track B: Trainee Instructor Track (Mandatory Upskilling & Global Certification)
- ​Candidates passionate about coding education who do not meet the 2 years EdTech benchmark, lack accredited instructor credentials, or have not yet developed a 20 project Scratch portfolio are required to complete our professional Scratch Coding Teacher Training Course.




- ​This program guides trainees through advanced game mechanics, sprite physics, computational concepts, and project-building to achieve an internationally recognized teaching certification in Scratch Coding.
- ​Mandatory Evaluation: Following completion of the training module and portfolio submissions, all Track B candidates must clear a final Technical Interview & Live Demo Assessment to qualify for active student batch assignments.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Interactive Live Teaching: Deliver structured online classes that teach core programming concepts (loops, conditional branching, custom blocks, variables, and event listeners) through engaging game design.
- ​High-Impact Demo Delivery for Kids: Host high-energy, immersive 20–30 minute live demo sessions designed to amaze kids, spark their curiosity, and get them actively building animations and mini-games.
- ​Project Guidance & Mentorship: Guide young learners through hands-on creative projects, encourage problem-solving and algorithmic logic, and help debug student scripts.

​Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- ​Strong background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA), or demonstrable mastery in Scratch visual block programming.
- ​Fluency in English with an energetic, engaging, and patient teaching persona tailored for young learners.
- ​Dedicated home-teaching setup: Personal laptop/PC, high-speed broadband connection, power backup, and a quiet teaching environment.
