SCM & Logistics Executive
Experience Required: 0–4 Years
Department: Supply Chain & Logistics
We are looking for a SCM & Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate supply chain planning, inventory, procurement, logistics, transportation, and import/export operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and coordination skills, along with good knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics documentation, shipment management, and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare supply, demand, and inventory plans based on forecasts and business requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, safety stock, reorder levels, stock-outs, and excess inventory risks.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate with suppliers for production and timely delivery.
- Monitor forecast vs. actual sales and adjust supply plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials/products.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Manage import/export shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, transporters, customs agents, and other logistics partners.
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure timely completion of shipment-related formalities.
- Track ETD, ETA, delivery schedules, and shipment status and proactively follow up on delays or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, customs agents, and internal teams for smooth supply chain operations.
- Negotiate and coordinate freight rates, shipment bookings, and logistics services as required.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, freight/logistics costs, and inventory movement.
- Maintain accurate PO,
inventory, shipment, supplier, and logistics records.
- Prepare and maintain SCM reports, trackers, and operational MIS.
- Handle and verify logistics documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), and Certificate of Origin.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable customs and regulatory requirements.
- Identify supply chain and logistics risks and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Support cost optimization, supply chain optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination between procurement, inventory, warehouse, logistics, and business operations.
- Perform other SCM and logistics activities as required to ensure efficient and timely operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Import-Export, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, and shipment processes.
- Basic understanding of import/export documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Good coordination and communication skills with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, shipments, and priorities simultaneously.
- Valuable analytical and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
