Job Title: Scala & Spark Data Engineer - Location - Mumbai - (Hybrid 3days a week)

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong commercial experience in Core Java development, with excellent proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design.
- Experience working with functional programming concepts and languages.
- Hands-on experience with Scala programming, or a solid willingness and ability to develop expertise in Scala.
- Fundamental understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed application design.
- Strong experience working with distributed caching technologies and relational databases, preferably Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good understanding of middleware and messaging technologies, including IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on scalable and high-performance data solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop and Apache Spark.
- Experience developing cloud-ready applications and working with Docker/containerized environments.
- Understanding of Reactive Programming and asynchronous, event-driven application development.




- Experience with Data Modeling, database design, and data processing solutions.
- Good understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements and development through testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with automation and scripting, with Python as a preferred language.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) systems and automated build/deployment processes.
