SAP SD Consultant – SAP DRC / e-Invoicing

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 6–10 years of SAP implementation experience, including hands-on experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), e-Invoicing, and electronic document processes.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting SAP SD processes, designing and implementing SAP DRC solutions, configuring e-Invoicing scenarios, and working closely with business, finance, tax, integration, and technical teams to deliver compliant end-to-end solutions.

Experience with European e-Invoicing and Peppol-based processes, particularly Germany, France, or other EU countries, will be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SD

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
- Configure and support core SAP SD processes including:
- Sales Order Management
- Outbound Delivery
- Picking and Goods Issue
- Billing and Invoicing
- Pricing and Tax Determination
- Customer Master / Business Partner
- Output Management
- Account Determination
- Returns and Credit/Debit Memo processes
- Perform integration analysis between SD and:
- SAP FI
- SAP MM
- SAP Tax
- SAP DRC
- SAP Integration Suite / middleware
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, and production go-live activities.

SAP DRC / e-Invoicing

- Participate in SAP DRC implementation and rollout projects.
- Configure and support SAP DRC processes for electronic customer and supplier invoices.
- Understand the complete e-Invoicing lifecycle from:




- Business Transaction → Invoice Creation → eDocument Generation → Transformation → Submission → Peppol/Network Transmission → Response → Status Update → Archiving.
- Configure and support relevant eDocument Framework / eDocument Cockpit processes.
- Analyze and resolve e-Invoicing processing errors and transmission failures.
- Work with technical teams on XML mapping, transformations, integration flows, and interface issues.
- Support configuration and testing of country-specific e-Invoicing requirements.
- Work with Peppol and other electronic document networks/service providers where applicable.
- Analyze incoming and outgoing invoice scenarios and corresponding acknowledgements/responses.
- Support configuration and testing of electronic invoice statuses and response handling.
- Support monitoring and troubleshooting of DRC interfaces and integration flows.
- Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, Integration, Finance, Tax, and Development teams for DRC implementation activities.

Implementation Experience The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:

- SAP S/4HANA implementation
- SAP S/4HANA rollout
- SAP DRC implementation
- SAP DRC country rollout
- e-Invoicing implementation
- SAP eDocument framework
- Integration with external tax/e-Invoicing platforms
- Peppol-based invoice exchange
- End-to-end integration testing
- Production support and issue resolution

Required Technical / Functional Skills

Mandatory

- 6–10 years of SAP SD experience
- Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP SD processes
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience
- Hands-on experience in SAP DRC / e-Invoicing implementation
- Valuable understanding of SD-FI integration
- Experience with billing and invoice processing
- Experience in requirement gathering and functional solution design
- Experience preparing functional specifications
- Experience in SIT/UAT and production support
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
