Job Description:

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities at the plant/site. The Electrical Foreman ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to technical standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise electricians and electrical technicians on daily activities.
Plan and allocate electrical maintenance and installation work.
Monitor electrical equipment, motors, panels, cables, transformers, and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ensure proper installation of electrical wiring, cable trays, panels, and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Coordinate with mechanical, production, and maintenance teams.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and spare parts.




Inspect completed electrical work for quality and safety.
Guide technicians and ensure work is completed within the required timeline.

Knowledge of motors, panels, MCC/PCC and control circuits
Cable laying and termination
Electrical wiring and installation
Preventive & breakdown maintenance
Electrical drawing interpretation
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
Safety awareness and LOTO practices
Valuable problem-solving and communication skills

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Experience in steel, manufacturing, power, or heavy-industry plants is preferred.
