Sap Multi-Bank Connectivity Functional

We are looking for an experienced SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) Functional to lead the functional design, implementation, localization, testing, bank onboarding, cutover, and stabilization of banking and payment connectivity across a global SAP S/4HANA rollout.

The role will own the end-to-end banking and payment connectivity workstream for legal entities across Canada, USA, Barbados, UAE, KSA, Pakistan, Romania, and Turkey, supporting multiple banks, currencies, payment methods, bank accounts, and country-specific banking requirements.

The Functional Lead will be responsible for defining a global banking and payment template, identifying local and bank-specific deviations, and ensuring that the resulting solution is scalable, standardized, secure, and aligned with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Treasury processes.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity, payment processing, Electronic Bank Statements, payment formats, ISO 20022, bank onboarding, payment approvals, bank account structures, connectivity models, and bank certification.

This is an offshore functional leadership role requiring close collaboration with Global Finance, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, country Finance teams, Global Template teams, banks, SAP technical teams, Integration, Security, Testing, Cutover, and external banking service providers.

Experience

- 12+ years of SAP Finance / Treasury / Banking experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP banking, payment processing, and bank connectivity.




- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) or equivalent SAP banking connectivity solutions.
- Experience in at least 5 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations or global rollout programs.
- Experience in at least 4 large-scale multi-bank / multi-country banking transformation programs.
- Experience leading global banking templates across multiple legal entities.
- Robust experience onboarding and integrating multiple banks into SAP.
- Strong experience with payment formats, bank statements, payment acknowledgements, rejects, returns, and reconciliation.
- Experience with ISO 20022 and XML-based payment formats.
- Experience with multiple connectivity models including host-to-host, SWIFT, APIs, SFTP/file-based connectivity, and middleware.
- Experience supporting banking requirements across North America, Middle East, South Asia, Caribbean, and European jurisdictions.
- Direct experience with one or more of Canada, USA, Barbados, UAE, KSA, Pakistan, Romania, and Turkey is highly desirable.
- Strong experience coordinating Finance, Treasury, Banks, SAP technical, Integration, Security, Testing, and Cutover teams.
- Experience working in globally distributed offshore/onshore environments.
