Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Test Consultant to support testing and quality assurance activities for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, particularly in projects involving RISE with SAP and S/4HANA migration (ECC to S/4HANA).

The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing test activities across SAP IBP processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Control Tower, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;). The role requires hands-on experience in test case preparation, test execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation across system integration and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for SAP IBP solutions.
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
- Validate SAP IBP planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Control Tower, and S&OP.;
- Test integration between SAP IBP and connected SAP ERP/S/4HANA systems.
- Support testing activities for RISE with SAP implementations and ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects.
- Prepare and maintain test scripts, test data, and test execution documentation.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects in coordination with functional and technical teams.
- Validate end-to-end business scenarios and data flows across SAP IBP and integrated systems.




- Collaborate with SAP IBP functional consultants, business users, integration teams, and project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on test progress, defect status, risks, and test completion.
- Support UAT coordination, defect triage, regression cycles, and final sign-off activities.

Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP).
- Experience in SAP testing, QA, or test consulting.
- Knowledge of one or more SAP IBP modules/processes:
- Demand Planning
- Supply Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Response and Supply
- Control Tower
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;)
- Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Experience preparing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, retesting, and closure.
- Understanding of SAP IBP integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to RISE with SAP or ECC-to-S/4HANA migration testing.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in SAP IBP implementation, rollout, or migration projects.
- Exposure to end-to-end testing across planning and ERP processes.
- Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
