Role Description The SAP Functional SME at AventIQ is a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for leading SAP functional design and configuration, with a primary focus on finance and controlling processes and related master data. Day-to-day work includes engaging with client stakeholders to understand business processes, translating requirements into SAP solutions, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure effective integration and delivery.





The SAP Functional SME will support migration and modernization initiatives, contribute to analytics and automation use cases, prepare functional specifications, and participate in testing, training, and post-go-live support. The role also involves consulting on best practices, identifying process improvements, and helping clients realize measurable value from their SAP investments.

Qualifications

- Robust understanding of Business Process design and optimization in SAP-driven environments.
- Robust Analytical Skills for assessing requirements, diagnosing issues, and interpreting financial and operational data.
- Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and presenting solution recommendations.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO configuration, integration, and support, including core finance and controlling functions.
- Experience managing Master Data structures and governance within SAP landscapes.
- Prior involvement in SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementations, migrations, or upgrades.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, collaborating effectively with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Clear communication skills, structured documentation practices, and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience with SAP analytics, SAP BTP, or automation tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere) is beneficial.
