Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP GBT Integration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Global Batch Traceability (GBT) and, most importantly, proven experience integrating SAP GBT with non-SAP systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Life Sciences / pharmaceutical environments, with a solid understanding of GxP and FDA-regulated processes. The role involves designing and supporting integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms while addressing complex batch, inventory, potency, country-of-origin, and regulatory segmentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support SAP GBT integrations with non-SAP systems.
- Define integration architecture, interfaces, data flows, and transformation requirements.
- Integrate GBT with SAP modules including PP, QM, and EWM.
- Analyze end-to-end batch traceability requirements across manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and supply-chain processes.
- Support integration scenarios involving:
- Inventory management
- Batch traceability
- Batch genealogy
- Potency
- Country of Origin
- Regulatory segmentation
- Material and batch attributes
- Collaborate with functional, technical, supply-chain, quality, and business teams.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data inconsistencies, and batch traceability issues.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
- Prepare technical specifications, interface mappings, data-flow diagrams, and integration documentation.
- Ensure solutions comply with GxP, FDA, validation,



audit, and data-integrity requirements.
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Global Batch Traceability (GBT).
- Proven experience integrating SAP GBT with NON-SAP systems – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of SAP PP, QM, and EWM integrations.
- Experience with batch management and end-to-end traceability.
- Experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong understanding of GxP and FDA-regulated environments.
- Experience with inventory, batch, potency, country-of-origin, and regulatory segmentation scenarios.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and enterprise interfaces.
- Experience working with complex master and transactional data flows.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP Integration Suite/CPI, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, web services, OData, or middleware platforms.
- Experience integrating SAP with external manufacturing, warehouse, quality, serialization, or supply-chain applications.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply-chain processes.
- Experience with validated systems and regulated change-management processes.
- Familiarity with data mapping, interface monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation.

Domain Experience

- Candidates should have experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Biotech environments, particularly where traceability and regulatory compliance are critical.
- Experience with GxP, FDA regulations, audit trails, validation, data integrity, and controlled system changes is highly desirable.
