Role Description The SAP Functional Architect Profit Center Setup is a contract, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for designing and configuring profit center structures within SAP, ensuring alignment with business processes and financial reporting requirements. Day-to-day tasks include gathering functional requirements from stakeholders, mapping business needs to SAP functionalities, and developing solution architecture for profit center setup and related integrations.

The architect will collaborate with SAP Basis and technical teams to support system configuration, testing, and deployment, and will provide consulting guidance on best practices, data consistency, and change management.



The role also involves documenting configurations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting user training and hypercare during and after implementation.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, particularly in finance and controlling.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Basis collaboration and coordination for functional deployments.
- Background in Consulting, with the ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and advise on best practices.
- Expertise in Solution Architecture for SAP profit center setup and related financial modules.
- Experience with Integration between SAP modules and external EPM or analytics platforms.
- Proven experience in SAP FI/CO (especially profit center accounting and reporting) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to draft functional specifications, test cases, and documentation for SAP configurations.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data integrity and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with finance and IT teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
