SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FI, CO, and SAP S/4HANA Finance. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, enhancements, support, testing, and business process optimization across Finance and Controlling modules. Experience with AI-driven finance automation using Claude AI and Generative AI technologies is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FI (Financial Accounting)

- Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Taxation.
- Manage company codes, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and document types.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Configure financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

SAP CO (Controlling)

- Configure Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
- Design cost allocation cycles, settlements, budgeting, and planning processes.
- Support profitability reporting and financial analysis.

Business Process & Integration





- Gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders.
- Support testing, UAT, training, and production support.
- Work closely with technical teams for enhancements and integrations.
- Integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, and HCM/SuccessFactors modules.

AI & Automation

- Identify opportunities for AI-driven finance process automation.
- Utilize Claude AI and Generative AI tools for financial analysis, document summarization, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Support intelligent automation initiatives across Finance and Controlling processes.
- Collaborate with AI and technical teams for automation use cases.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5-7 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
- Robust SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Hands-on configuration experience in FI and CO modules.
- Experience in business process design, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
- Exposure to AI-powered finance automation solutions is preferred.
