? HIRING | SAP CO Lead / SME – S/4HANA ?

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP CO Lead / SME with strong expertise in Product Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger and CO-PA to lead an SAP S/4HANA Implementation project.

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the SAP CO workstream for end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Define and establish the SAP CO blueprint covering Product Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger and CO-PA in alignment with business requirements.
- Lead the complete SAP CO project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover and post-go-live support.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP CO and provide guidance to business stakeholders and project teams.
- Design and configure Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Cost Element Accounting.
- Provide deep expertise in Product Costing, including:

- Standard Costing
- Cost Estimates
- Cost Component Structure / Split
- Costing Variants
- Overhead Calculation
- Variance Analysis

• Lead Actual Costing and Material Ledger activities, including design, configuration and integration with relevant business processes.

- Design and implement SAP CO-PA solutions covering both Costing-Based and Account-Based CO-PA.
- Analyze business profitability requirements and translate them into effective SAP CO solutions and configurations.
- Define and implement appropriate cost allocation methods, assessment/distribution cycles, overhead rates and variance analysis.
- Work closely with FI, PP, MM and SD teams to ensure seamless cross-module integration.
- Provide expertise on S/4HANA Finance and New GL integration with Controlling processes.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend appropriate S/4HANA capabilities and new functionalities.
- Drive the roadmap for CO enhancements, upgrades, process improvements and new functionality adoption.




- Lead CO cutover activities, including data validation, reconciliation, migration and go-live readiness.
- Support data migration activities using tools such as LSMW and SAP Data Services.
- Prepare and review functional specifications, technical specifications, solution designs and process documentation.
- Support integration with SAP BW/BI and SAP Analytics Cloud for management reporting and analytics.
- Work with manufacturing teams and understand costing requirements across Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes.
- Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution and business sign-off activities for SAP CO processes.
- Identify risks, resolve complex business/process issues and provide analytical and problem-solving support throughout the project.
- Lead and mentor the SAP CO project team and coordinate with functional and technical teams.
- Conduct stakeholder discussions, workshops, knowledge transfer and end-user training.
- Support change management activities and ensure successful adoption of new SAP CO processes.

? MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

✅ 10–14 years of SAP CO experience

✅ Strong expertise in:

- Product Costing
- Actual Costing
- Material Ledger
- CO-PA
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Cost Element Accounting

✅ Minimum 4+ End-to-End SAP Implementation / Support projects ✅ Strong end-to-end project lifecycle experience

✅ Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA

✅ Robust understanding of S/4HANA Finance and New GL

✅ Strong cross-module integration knowledge across FI / PP / MM / SD

✅ Experience with MTS and MTO manufacturing processes

✅ Experience with CO cutover and data migration

✅ Knowledge of LSMW / SAP Data Services

✅ Experience with SAP BW/BI or SAP Analytics Cloud

✅ Ability to prepare functional and technical specifications

✅ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

⭐ SAP Certification is preferred, such as:

- SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO)
- SAP Product Costing
- SAP S/4HANA CO-PA
