Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP Business One (B1) Functional Consultant to join our growing IT team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP B1 solutions for our clients across various industries. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective SAP B1 configurations and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end implementation, configuration, and customisation of SAP Business One modules including Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Production.
- Gather and analyse client business requirements and map them to SAP B1 functionalities through effective requirement workshops and documentation.
- Prepare and deliver functional design documents (FDD), business blueprints, test plans, and training materials.
- Perform data migration activities including data validation, cleansing, and upload using DTW (Data Transfer Workbench).
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure timely resolution for client queries.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and coordinate go-live activities.
- Coordinate with SAP technical consultants and developers to deliver add-on development, SDK customisations, and third-party integrations.
- Train end-users and key stakeholders on SAP B1 processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- 3–5+ years of hands-on SAP Business One implementation and support experience.
- Strong proficiency in core SAP B1 modules: Finance & Accounting, Sales, Purchase, and Inventory Management.
- Hands-on experience with DTW (Data Transfer Workbench) and SAP B1 Query Manager.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and basic database querying for report generation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to prepare functional documentation, user manuals, and training guides.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc (IT / Computer Science) or equivalent degree from a recognised institution.
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines independently.

Preferred / Good to Have

- SAP Business One Certification (Associate or Professional level).
- Experience with SAP B1 HANA version and Crystal Reports for custom report design.
- Exposure to SAP B1 Service Layer / DI API for integration support and custom development coordination.
- Prior experience working in an SAP Partner or Reseller organisation.
- Knowledge of additional ERP modules such as MRP or CRM within SAP B1.
