Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP ATTP Functional Consultant to join our pharmaceutical supply chain services team in Hyderabad. You will be part of a managed services engagement supporting a major North American pharmaceutical manufacturer with their serialization and traceability operations. The role is hands-on in the client's SAP ATTP workplace from Day 1. You will own functional configuration, partner onboarding, exception management, and day-to-day serialization operations.

This is a client-facing delivery role. You will work directly with the client's internal SAP Basis and business teams and interact with US-based stakeholders. Strong communication skills and US EST time zone coverage (approximately 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM IST) are mandatory.

- Configure and maintain business rules, GLN groups, and serialization workflows in SAP ATTP per CMO and downstream customer scenario. Each partner has a different configuration requirement based on their serialization provider and EPCIS event type.
- Establish fresh SAP ATTP connections for CMOs and downstream customers. Manage partner profile setup, EPCIS event configuration (Commissioning, Aggregation, Disaggregation, Shipping, Receiving, Decommissioning), QA testing, and production go-live per partner.
- Set up and maintain Business Partner, Location, and Trade Item master data in SAP ATTP. Coordinate with the client's SAP ECC or S/4HANA team for master data replication if required based on system architecture.
- Monitor SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework)



error queues continuously for failed EPCIS messages, IDoc failures, and integration errors. Perform root cause analysis, apply fixes, and reprocess transactions.
- Support SAP ICH for regulatory reporting and downstream customer file exchange activities. Ensure event alignment between SAP ATTP and SAP ICH.
- Develop and execute test scripts for QA validation. Resolve defects and support the client's QA team during UAT. Prepare test result documentation and sign-off evidence for production promotion.
- Manage aggregation hierarchy issues, serial number range monitoring, and exception reconciliation across all active partner connections.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP ATTP functional configuration experience in a pharmaceutical serialization environment.
- Strong knowledge of EPCIS event types and how they are configured in SAP ATTP.
- Proven experience with ATTP business rule setup, GLN group configuration, and partner workflow mapping.
- Working knowledge of SAP AIF: error queue monitoring, root cause investigation, and transaction reprocessing.
- Experience with ATTP master data objects: Business Partners, Locations, Trade Items, GTINs.
- Understanding of DSCSA (US Drug Supply Chain Security Act) serialization requirements.
- Experience onboarding CMOs or downstream customers onto SAP ATTP or similar L4 serialization platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for direct client interaction.
