Enterprise Performance

Our Enterprise Performance team is at the forefront of enterprise technology, working across finance, supply chain, and IT operations to support the delivery of holistic performance improvement and digital transformation. We support Deloitte client service teams of strategic advisors and architects, differentiated by our industry depth, to collaborate with leading insights providers and leverage experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services to enable the heart of business solutions.

Position Summary

Level: SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will independently lead the design, build, and delivery of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables in line with our CMMI-certified standards. You will mentor junior team members, guide onsite/offshore teams, and act as a key technical point of contact with client stakeholders.

Work You'll Do

SAP BDC Senior Consultant

- Independently deliver end-to-end SAP BDC work streams, from requirements gathering through deployment and hypercare
- Lead the design and build of BDC data models, data products, semantic layers, and integration flows across SAP (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere) and non-SAP systems
- Define data harmonization, governance, and quality standards for BDC-based data foundations
- Review functional and technical specifications and guide the team on best practices and standards
- Own technical strategy and approach documentation, and present recommendations to client stakeholders
- Mentor and direct junior consultants; coordinate with onsite/offshore teams on delivery
- Optionally, architect BDC-centric solutions that integrate SAP and non-SAP systems — defining target-state data architecture, integration patterns, and governance frameworks (see Good to Have skills)
- Drive review processes including self and peer reviews, and ensure adherence to CMMI-certified delivery standards

Qualifications

SAP BDC Senior Consultant —

- Must Have Skills

- 6-10 years of overall SAP experience, including at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Proven experience on at least one full-cycle implementation involving SAP BDC, Datasphere,
- Expertise and 5-6 years of hands-on experience inone of the core Analytics technologies –
- Enterprise HANA, Embedded Analytics, SAP BW
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP data platforms with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP source systems via SLT, ODP, APIs, or SAP Integration Suite
- Strong understanding of data modelling (dimensional and semantic layers), data cataloguing, master data harmonization, and data governance frameworks
- Experience preparing technical strategy, approach, and solution design documents
- Good understanding of the end-to-end system landscape and implementation phases
- Experience mentoring junior consultants and coordinating with onsite/offshore teams
- Robust communication and client-facing skills

Good To Have Skills

- Ability to architect BDC-centric solutions integrating SAP and non-SAP systems — defining target-state data architecture, integration patterns, data cataloguing, and governance models (preferred for Senior Consultant; optional for Consultant)
- Experience with enterprise data architecture, master data management (MDM), or SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP UI5/BTP
- Working knowledge of Python or scripting languages for data engineering and transformation
- SAP certification in Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, or Data &
- Analytics
- Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery





Education

- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
