Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at Divy Ratna Jewellers in Kanpur. The Salesperson will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them in selecting suitable jewelry pieces while maintaining a professional and courteous approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting product features and pricing, handling inquiries, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

The role also involves keeping display counters organized, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with the team to ensure the showroom is clean and well-presented.



The Salesperson will support promotional activities, follow company sales processes, and contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including upselling, cross-selling, and closing transactions in a retail setting.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with comfort using billing systems or point-of-sale software.
- Clear spoken communication skills in relevant local languages; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and product presentation skills to ensure jewelry is displayed and handled carefully.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and peak festive seasons.
- Prior experience in retail sales, jewelry, or luxury goods is preferred but not mandatory.
