Salesforce Cloud Engineer- Remote- EST time zone

We are looking for a Salesforce Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work with architects, business analysts, admins, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Salesforce clouds, and to integrate them with the wider enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable solutions on Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or others)

Build custom functionality using Apex (classes, triggers, batch and queueable jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura

Configure declarative features: Flow, validation rules, permission sets, sharing rules, page layouts, and record types

Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)

Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs and solutions

Optimize performance and respect governor limits through productive SOQL, bulkification, and sound data model design

Manage data migration, data quality, and data loads using Data Loader, Workbench, and ETL tools

Implement and maintain security best practices (profiles, permission sets, field-level security, OWD, encryption)

Own CI/CD and release management using Salesforce DX, Git, and tools such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum, or Jenkins

Write Apex unit tests that meet coverage standards, and support QA and UAT cycles

Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and platform best practices

Troubleshoot production issues,



perform root cause analysis, and provide L3 support

Manage sandbox strategy and deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production

Maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers and admins

Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives)

Stay current with Salesforce release cycles and recommend enhancements

Required Skills

4+ years of overall software development experience, with 3+ years on the Salesforce platform

Strong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow

Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits

Experience with at least one Salesforce cloud (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud)

Proven experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standards

Experience with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Integration Architecture Designer

Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms

Experience with CPQ, Field Service, Health Cloud, or Marketing Cloud

Knowledge of Einstein, Data Cloud, or Agentforce

Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum)

Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and event-driven design

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for integration and hosting
