We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented FMCG / Ice Cream Marketing Executive to promote and expand our ice cream products in the local market. The candidate will be responsible for developing new outlets, managing retailers and distributors, and increasing sales across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and other potential outlets.
- Promote and sell ice cream products to retailers and distributors.
- Identify and develop recent customers and business opportunities.
- Maintain good relationships with existing retailers and distributors.
- Generate orders and follow up on regular sales.
- Expand product availability and market presence in the assigned area.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activities.
- Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
- Coordinate with distributors for stock availability and order requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales and market visit reports.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to the management.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in FMCG Sales, Field Sales, Food & Beverage Sales or Distribution Sales preferred.
- Candidates with experience in ice cream, beverages, snacks or other FMCG products will be preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to approach retailers and develop new business.
- Must be comfortable with field work and daily market visits.
- Knowledge of the Nagercoil/Kanyakumari local market will be an advantage.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
