? We’re Hiring – Sales Executive / Sales Officer

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive / Sales Officer to drive sales and market expansion for our Diaper & Toothbrush categories in Kolkata.

? Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

? Experience: 5–10 Years

? Industry: FMCG / Personal Care / Baby Care / Hygiene / Oral Care

? Salary: Based on current CTC and candidate experience

Key Responsibilities• Drive primary and secondary sales for the assigned territory

- Develop and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts
- Identify and appoint new distributors and expand the existing distribution network
- Increase retail penetration and product availability across Kolkata
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales, stock, product availability and visibility
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility and shelf presence at retail outlets
- Manage distributor orders, stock levels, outstanding payments and overall business performance
- Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, promotions and market activities
- Provide regular feedback on market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity
- Support new product launches and promotional activities in the territory
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market visit reports and sales forecasts
- Coordinate closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing, dispatch and delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and retailers while continuously developing new accounts





Category PreferenceCandidates with experience in any of the following categories will be preferred:

Baby Care | Diapers | Wipes | Oral Care | Toothbrushes | Personal Care | Hygiene | FMCG

Requirements• 5–10 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Baby Care, Hygiene, Oral Care or a related category

- Strong understanding of Kolkata's retail and distribution market
- Existing relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers in Kolkata will be an advantage
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and expanding market coverage
- Strong understanding of primary & secondary sales
- Experience in distributor appointment and management
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
- Positive knowledge of territory planning, beat planning and market coverage
- Ability to independently manage the assigned territory and drive business growth
- Comfortable with regular field visits and market travel
- Proficiency in basic reporting and MS Excel

What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who has strong hands-on experience in the Kolkata FMCG market, understands distributor and retailer dynamics, and can independently drive sales for our diaper and toothbrush categories.

Candidates with an existing Kolkata market network and relevant category experience will be preferred.
