Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Malappuram.

The Sales

Executive will engage directly with walk-in customers, builders, and contractors to understand their requirements, present suitable marble and tile options, and provide accurate product information and pricing.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations, following up on leads, closing sales, and coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. The role also involves maintaining product displays and samples, updating customer records, and monitoring local market trends and competitor activity.

Executive will be expected to meet sales targets, uphold high standards of customer service, and contribute ideas to improve showroom performance.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain product features and benefits clearly.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including experience handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and closing deals.
- Basic numerical and record-keeping skills for pricing, billing, inventory coordination, and daily sales reporting.
- Ability to learn product specifications (types of marble, tiles, finishes, and uses) and advise customers on suitable options.
- Comfort working in office in a showroom or warehouse environment, with a hands-on approach to product handling and display.
- Prior experience in retail, building materials, or construction-related sales is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local language(s) and working knowledge of English for customer and supplier communication.
- Minimum higher secondary education; a diploma or degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet sales targets.
