Role Description The Sales Associate role at SolvelegalX is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

The Sales

Associate will engage with prospective and existing clients, understand their business needs, and recommend appropriate services such as business setup, trademark, compliance, and legal support solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound inquiries, conducting consultations, preparing proposals, and following up to close opportunities. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools, coordinating with legal and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding,



and supporting client relationship management.

The Sales

Associate is expected to meet defined sales targets, participate in local events or outreach initiatives, and provide feedback on market trends and client needs.

Qualifications

- Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex concepts in easy terms.
- Sales and negotiation capabilities, with experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and converting prospects into clients.
- Basic understanding of business setup, compliance, and legal service environments, or willingness to quickly learn these domains.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM or sales management software for tracking activities and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales or customer service.
- Previous experience in professional services, legal consulting, or startup/SME-focused organizations is an advantage.
